An architect, a, chef, a storyteller and a bridge builder, Peter was a walking sunshine of humor, friendship and compassion. We grieve with the many who have known him in his life and we weep for a world that must reckon with his death.

I was truly saddened by the news of Peter's death. I, too, remember his wit and his friendliness in our dealings, and I extend my sympathy to you and all of his close friends.

I wanted to say a few words in memory of Peter Noble and express my condolences to Peter’s family & friends. I met Peter several years ago through Koonshing Wong and my sister Amy. I along with four of my friends from Colorado (Larry, Gilbert, Tom, & Ron) got to know Peter on two ski trips which Koonshing and I organized. The first trip was to Lake Tahoe in 2005 and the second was to Aspen in 2007. I remember these trips being full of laughter, skiing, great food, and the occasional scotch & cigar.

With Peter on the trip we knew we would be eating well. On last years trip to Aspen a couple of us went to the grocery store and returned some snacks, sliced ham, and a big block of yellow cheese. Peter reviewed our purchases and immediately went into town and found a specialty food store and little wine shop and came back with wines, cheeses, and an assortment of Italian deli meats I’ve never heard of (sopressata?). Anyway, over the course of the weekend the food and wine he selected disappeared but the sliced ham and block of yellow cheese remained untouched. He clearly knew what the good things in life were and enthusiastically shared this with his friends.

I just wanted to express condolences on behalf of myself and the Colorado guys. It is a very sad loss and Peter will be missed.
